A leading organic food manufacturer and distributor in Malaysia and Singapore engaged our team to support their expansion into the healthy gelato category. Well established for their natural, nutrient-rich product range, the client sought to create a dessert line that aligned with their wellness-focused brand while remaining cost-effective, scalable, and commercially competitive.
Our consultancy covered the full journey—from product development to facility design to operational transfer. The first phase focused on menu and flavour development, where we created a range of healthy gelato concepts formulated with natural sweeteners, real fruit and ingredients compatible with the client’s existing organic portfolio. Each recipe was engineered to deliver balanced flavour, smooth texture, and strong market appeal while maintaining cost efficiency for long-term production.
To support sustainable in-house manufacturing, we designed and set up a complete gelato production facility tailored to the client’s workflow, hygiene standards, and output expectations. This included machinery planning, space optimisation, process mapping, and food safety considerations. Our Build–Operate–Transfer (BOT) model ensured the facility was not only well-equipped but also operationally functional from day one.
During the operating phase, we provided on-site production supervision, refinement of recipes and processes, and validation of batch consistency. We also established detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support quality control, maintenance, and day-to-day production management.
A critical component of the project was knowledge transfer and staff training. We trained the client’s internal team in gelato production techniques, equipment handling, recipe execution, hygiene protocols, and troubleshooting. This ensured that once the facility was transferred, the team could confidently run operations independently and maintain product quality.
